House of Shawarma: Savor Authentic Mediterranean Delights in Morgantown

A while ago, I decided to stop going to the mega fast food joints and instead, support the local cuisine. House of Shawarma delivers in taste, flavors and portion size! I loved everything on the menu, especially the Gyro bowl, the babaganoush and hummus. Call ahead, pick up, eat half for lunch, the rest for dinner. You'll save bundles, thank me later.

My husband and I stopped here for the first time a couple of days ago. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and my husband got a mixed meat bowl. The food was SO phenomenal that we came back tonight to get it again! We also got the baklava which was the BEST we’ve ever had. The fries are also delicious! The guys remembered us and even remembered our orders after having only been there once! The service is so welcoming and friendly and the food is 10/10. Would give this place 100 stars if it was possible!

First time here and absolutely loved it!! Food was the best meal I have gotten in a while! Super fresh and flavor! Great price and AMAZING service! Couldn’t recommend it more!

What an amazing find as we were passing through West Virginia. On a long drive we wanted to find something fast but flavorful and halal, luckily we came across House of Shawarma and were very satisfied with everything! The staff was super friendly and cooked up a chicken bowl and gyro quickly - both were really fresh and the flavor was on point. Even the rice itself was very tasty and aromatic. We would definitely be here all the time if we lived in town.

Arguably the best gyro in town. The sandwich is big and the meat portion was generous. The grape leaves need more lemon and the baklava was average. Chef was friendly and fast

A Perfect Pit Stop on the Way to Columbus We stopped here on our way to Columbus, Ohio, and were genuinely impressed. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The staff was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their outdoor seating was comfortable, easily accommodating our family of six. Our server went above and beyond, not only was the service prompt and friendly, but they also made sure the kids were happy without making us feel rushed or pressured to spend. It was clear they cared more about our experience than the dollars. We’ll definitely be stopping by again on future trips and highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling through the area. They go above and beyond:))) And the chicken, hands down the best shawarma ever !

If you follow my reviews then you know it’s rare that I give 5 stars however this place deserves every bit of it! This is a food truck location so I’m not gonna rate the atmosphere. I will say it’s off of Chestnut Ridge road in the say parking lot of a smoke/vape shop. There are two picnic tables out front one has an umbrella. The guys working there are super helpful and friendly. The food was amazing!! I had the Chicken Bowl and it blew me away. The quality of meat was perfect. Loved the rice so flavorful. I also got a side of fries that were seasoned perfectly as well. Highly highly recommend trying this place out. I almost didn’t based on the food truck and location but I’m so glad I did.
